Our Programmes
Our Leaders for Education programme pairs public school principals with private sector business leaders in a 12-month leadership development journey. Join us in strengthening school leadership and creating conducive learning environments.
Building on the Leaders for Education journey, the School for Community programme focuses on mobilizing engagement and support from teachers, parents, and the community. Contribute to lasting change by supporting school projects and enhancing leadership skills.
Our School Leadership Forum connects and empowers school principals and educators through knowledge sharing and practical skills development. Join us for insightful presentations and discussions on education and leadership-related topics.
Our two-day Community Building workshop is inspired by Peter Block’s work. This workshop is for educators, business leaders and active citizens interested in creating a better future by bridging divides and fostering collaboration.
The Alumni Network provides support to school principals who have completed our Leaders for Education program. Access resources, expertise and a community engagement platform to share best practices and support each other.
Our Senior Management Training Programme equips School Management Teams with the leadership skills needed to run schools effectively. This 12-month programme incorporates our proven methodology and is facilitated by accredited coaches.

In the 2018 Geneva rankings of the world’s Top500 NGOs, Symphonia for South Africa is ranked as one of the Top100 non-profit organisations in the world (number 97) against a range of criteria which include the strength of its impact, governance and innovation (January 2018).
Dr Louise van Rhyn was shortlisted in the Inspiration category of the prestigious annual EduWeek Awards held in October 2017.
PfP was recognised by Unashamedly Ethical in the Western Cape for its tireless work in supporting and improving the South African basic education sector (June 2016).
Women In Entrepreneurship, Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy Development (WEISED) presented Louise van Rhyn, founder of PfP, with its Leading Woman of Africa Special Recognition Honorary Award for her tenacity and contribution to the advancement of women and Africa’s socio-economic growth (November 2017).
